Hi, my
name is Joshua Karl Smith and I'm 21 years
old. My family and I are missionaries to
the country of South Africa. I came to
South Africa when I was 9 years old and we
lived in Mafikeng and then moved to Capetown
in 2001.
After
graduating from High School I went
to college for 2 years in Stockton,
California, then spent 1 year at Patten
University in Oakland, California and have
just started school at Eastern Maine
Community College. I am working on a degree
in Psychology and plan to go right into the
Master's program.
I spent
the summer in Capetown with my folks and had
a great time seeing old friends, old places
and meeting new people.
While in
Capetown, my girlfriend Morgan Smith came to
meet my parents and we became engaged while
she was here. Our wedding will take place
on January 5, 2008 in Maine.
