My name is Hannah and I am 14 years
old. My family is currently on deputation in the
states. We are appointed to the Central African
Republic.
I haven’t always been an MK. In
2003, my family went on AIM for a year to Madagascar.
It was one of the greatest years of my life. I enjoyed
living on the Bible School Campus in the capital city.
It gave me the opportunity to play with the student's
children and really experience how they lived. I
also had fun teaching all the little Bible School
children to sing in English, which they did at daybreak,
standing underneath my bedroom window.
After our time in Madagascar, my
parents applied to go to Central Africa and we were
appointed in February 2007. The funny thing about being
appointed to the Central African Republic is that we’ve
never been there. But, I am very excited and anxious to
get there!
I guess the thing I dislike the most
are snakes and bugs.
Some of my favorite things are
reading, shopping and cooking. I especially
enjoy reading about the Amish lifestyle. And, my goal
is to hit every mall in North America someday. One of
my favorite things to cook is ‘salsa’ that Uncle Chris
taught us to make in Madagascar. My favorite colors are
turquoise and brown.
One
day, I hope to earn a teaching degree and return to
Africa to teach in the African schools. |
