Tremayne and Vicki Simoneaux
Reaching Africa's Children
Tremayne Simoneaux was a missionary kid in Tanzania, Africa, and saw first hand the need for missionaries. It was there that he developed a burden for foreign missions. This burden took him and his wife, Vicki, as Associate Missionaries back to Tanzania. Then later (1988-1993) they served as Associate Missionaries to Military Ministries, Europe and the Middle East. Tremayne pastored churches in Nuremberg and Kitzingen, Germany, and also served as youth camp director for Military Ministries.
The Tremayne Simoneaux family received full missionary appointment to Botswana in 1993 and arrived on the field in 1995. In Botswana, they were actively involved in training ministers by establishing a full-time Bible School, evangelizing throughout the nation, and assisting in the local church. In May 1999 the Foreign Missions Board approved the transfer of the Tremayne Simoneaux family to Zimbabwe.
In Zimbabwe, Tremayne and Vicki established Portable Bible Schools International, pastored a church in the capitol city of Harare, and traveled throughout the nation teaching seminars and training ministers. Tremayne is also the coordinator of the Campus Ministries Africa which falls under Vision for Africa Ministries. Vicki is heavily involved in Reaching Africa's Children and serves as South/Central Africa’s representative to the RAC committee.
Since 2001 Tremayne and Vicki have traveled to 12 African countries providing training in these areas of ministry. They have also spoken at numerous Children’s Ministry Conventions/Workshops in the USA promoting children’s evangelism around the world.
Tremayne and Vicki have three children: Micah (‘86), Lauren (‘89) and Timothy (‘95). Micah is married to Chelsea whom he met while attending Christian Life College in Stockton, California. Lauren is currently attending Houston Baptist University. Timothy is still enjoying living at home and being home-schooled.
