“There comes a special moment in everyone’s life, a moment for which that person was born. When he seizes it, it is his finest hour.” (Winston Churchill). This is our Africa’s finest hour and we seek to be on the cutting edge of all that God wants done in this generation. An Arabic proverb says that the dawn does not come twice to awaken a person. Opportunity knocks but once! The gospel must be preached in every nation. There is no such thing as a country that is closed to the gospel. There is a way to reach into every nation. We need to find God’s key for the nation. To accomplish this, and to be a blessing where we already have United Pentecostal Churches, the Vision for Africa Ministries was established. Six specialized ministries work together to provide maximum impact throughout Africa. Missionary Jim Poitras serves as the Coordinator of Vision for Africa Ministries. Vision for Africa Ministries provides the umbrella for the seven specialized regional ministries operating in Africa. These include the Africa Network of Prayer (praying for Africa revival and needs); Africa Aflame (providing print and non-print resources to assist in church growth); Leadership Development Africa (developing leaders for developing Africa); Campus Ministries Africa (reaching tomorrow’s leaders); Africa Association of Theological Studies (lifting the standard of excellence in the training ministry); Reaching Africa’s Children (reaching fifty per cent of Africa’s population presently below the age of fifteen); and Africa Regional Promotions (providing a monthly e-newsletter of revival reports.
