“Developing Leaders For
Developing Africa”

   God has given His Word.  He is pouring out His Spirit.  God has given spiritually gifted men to the church. The responsibility to train and develop the leaders that He has given rests with the church leadership of today.  “Leadership Development Africa” is designed to minister to those who lead the church within the nations of Africa.  This is done mainly through printed materials and seminars.

   God calls men to minister.  He has commissioned the church to train them.  Each leader must constantly strive to grow, improve and develop.  The Apostle Paul’s attitude was reflected in the following passages:

   From Philippians 3:13-15a, “Brethren I count not myself to have apprehended:  but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded.”

   From II Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

   Solomon said in Proverbs 1:5, “A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels….”
