Africa Aflame
Chairman - James Poitras

Our Scriptural Mission - “And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region”  (Acts 13:49).

Africa Aflame was instituted in early 1998 by Rev. J. R. Richardson, Regional Director for Africa (U.P.C.I.).  It is our desire to see the membership and ministry in Africa trained and mobilized to evangelize the 605,000,000 people in the region.  It is our conviction that we will experience an evangelism explosion in the last days.  This explosion will result in unprecedented church growth.  Africa Aflame will be ready through the creation, translation and reproduction of valuable resources.   Our desire is to see Africa aflame with revival.

Much of the literature developed overseas comes from the Africa Region. For more information on our resources contact AfricaAflame@aol.com.

Missionary James Poitras serves as the Chairman of the Africa Aflame Committee.  He provides general oversight and coordination of all areas of the Africa Aflame ministry. He is responsible to the Regional Director and the Foreign Missions Division. Brother Poitras has written six books available from the Pentecostal Publishing House, and several others available only through Africa Aflame.

Each Sub-region in Africa has a sub-regional representative.
